There's a place in the orchard ...

where the sun kisses the leaves
makes sparkles in the grass
and brings back memories of childhood days

i saw your photo in the s.s. flickr pool for illuminate, but did not realize it was from the same photographer who authored this blog until just now. i had left you a comment on a post a while back called "fond farewells", and since i posed a question to you in it, i clicked on "Email follow-up comments to me" so that i could see if you answered my question in a reply comment. perhaps you did not see it. regardless, someone else left a comment on that post today, so i got an e-mail notification that led me back to your blog. and that is how i discovered that you are the one who had the apple orchard shot on flickr that i loved. what a beautiful shot--actually, all of these are just incredible. your blog and your photos are quite lovely.

Your fine art photography is wonderful! Your use of subtle filters and technique gives your image a subtle nostalgia and serenity.

Oh, these are so beautiful, they took my breath away! I've been deciding for months which prints to buy myself for Christmas, and thought I had it down. Now I must rethink.... :)

I couldn't see all of your pics, but the ones I could see just knocked me out. Beautiful. Moving. Wow. Thanks for sharing.
